A Message from the President – November 2014

Dear friends,

It is that time of the year again and we are all excited to be organising our annual HCGM École Socrates-Démosthène “Open House” event. This exclusive and engaging event is a unique opportunity for future parents and students to familiarise themselves with our School.

In this unique province we live in, the only local learning institutions that contribute to preserving and promoting Hellenism are École Socrates-Démosthène and our Supplementary Education Saturday Schools.

You may ask what makes École Socrates-Démosthène so special and what the benefits are for its students. Studies have shown that students who are fluent in several languages possess stronger cognitive skills. Our students excel in three languages; French, Greek and English. By offering quality, as well as more, teaching time than the average private and public schools, École Socrates-Démosthène – without a doubt – successfully contributes to its students’ future. Our students go on to some of the area’s most prominent high schools and they are able to continue their studies all over the world, if they so choose.
