The Social Services Christmas Campaign
The Hellenic Social Services of Quebec (HSSQ) are proud to announce that this year’s Christmas Campaign was a great success. More than 100 baskets were donated to families, which are in great need, in Montreal and Laval, in order to help them better enjoy the holiday season.
It took a lot of effort and preparation from the personnel and the volunteers of the HSSQ to collect all donations, to prepare the baskets and deliver them to the families that were eligible for help. We thank all the companies and individuals who donated money and/or toys for the children, our donor’s names will be published shortly, through our media platform.
It is remarkable, how Platon-Omeros Kindergarten students, were motivated to collect toys for other children and how “Socrates-Démosthène” students collected and donated money for the benefit of less fortunate families.
Special thanks to Mary Arvanitaki who coordinated the whole Christmas Campaign and the delivery in Montreal, as well as, Chrysoula Beletsiotis along with Eleni Tsinalis who made the delivery in Laval. The key of this year’s success was once again our great team of volunteers whose contribution was extraordinary.
