Wine Tasting Festival 2017

“The Smile of the Child” (NGO) is one of Greece’s leading organisations dealing with children at risk. A Montreal committee, The “Canadian Initiative for Lesvos (CIL)” has been formed in support of Smile and will result in the establishment of a safe haven and a direct action centre for crisis intervention, for children at risk on the island of Lesvos. The centre will house both Greek and refugee children, and regardless of nationality and religion.

Under the Honorary patronage of Mr. Robert Peck, Canada’s former Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, CIL is coordinator of a fundraising event, a Wine Tasting and Food Festival, to be held on May 6th and 7th at the Hellenic Community Centre Adrian-Maris, 5757 Wilderton Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H3S 2K8.

Come and meet the founder of the NGO the Smile of the Child. Mr Costa Giannopoulos and be inspired by his story. Join us and the members of the organising committee of the Canadian Initiative for Lesvos at a Wine festival in support of the Smile of the Child on the Greek island of Lesvos. The Wine festival will take place on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th. Tickets are only $25 for Saturday and $20 for Sunday. Children’s admission only $5 for each day.
