We are pleased to inform you on the progress of Panagitsa’s reconstruction
A substantial amount of structural steel (beams and columns) has been installed. The outline of the church will soon start taking shape.
In the next two weeks you will see the completion of the structural steel, the preparation of the main floor steel deck and pouring of concrete for the main floor.
By December 14 the structural wood beam arches will be installed to span the roof line. These beams will be similar to the original style, exposed from the inside church ceiling.
At the same time the building envelope (walls) should start taking shape.
To quell gossips and hearsays, we inform the people of our community that the disbursement of funds received by the insurance company is being done gradually and in accordance with the progress of the project.
