Overview:
The Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal (HCGM) is requesting tenders from qualified General Contractors for Washroom renovation work to be done at:
1565 St-Martin west, Laval, Québec, H7S 1N1
Socrates–Démosthène school, Campus Démosthène
Requirements:
- Mandatory on site visit. Date to be determined and by appointment
- Obtain the Tender Documents by February 05, 2018 at 12:00 noon from the HCGM Real Estate and Procurement Department.
The tender submissions should include the following:
- Price quote
- Proof of Insurance
- Copy of RBQ Licence
- References
General:
All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly identifying the RFT number, addressed to:

As per Véronique Tremblay interior designer plans dated 31 OCT 2017 – Revision: 20 NOV 2017
Renovation of the existing girls and boys washrooms – Replacing 1st & 2nd floor water fountains
Description of Work for the contractor
**This list is for guidance only; refer to the plans for execution details
According to plan, demolition:
Remove toilets, urinals, fountains, toilets, light fixtures, old floor ceramics, old urinal ceramics, and drinking troughs.
- According to plan, construction:
- Install new partitions for drinking troughs, sinks and urinals.
- Pose sanitary facilities: install new toilets, water troughs, urinals and sinks.
- Pose new washrooms.
- Installation: counters, new fixtures, bathroom accessories, new floor ceramics or epoxy concrete, mechanical ventilation, new ceramic wall, paint concrete block walls.
- Protect the premises.
- Remove and clean debris from the premises.
- All work performed by the Contractor must be in accordance with the applicable National Building Code, its appendices and supplements, and any other codes and regulations in effect in the city where the work is being performed.
