Holy Cross Church’s 25th Anniversary

In the early 1990s the increasing Greek population in the Laval area brought on the necessity of another Greek Church. And so, in April 1991, the construction of Holy Cross Church began. The Church was inaugurated on September 14th 1991, by its first priest, Reverend Father Dimitrios Gianniou.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2016, we will be celebrating, clergy and churchgoers together, our beloved Church’s 25th Anniversary. And several celebratory events will be held during the following weeks.

The HCGM Laval Regional Council, with the Ladies Philoptohos and the Church Committee, under the supervision of Very Reverend Father Nectarios Mostratos, are fervently working to organise the Gala that we will be held on Saturday, October 1st 2016, at Palace Reception Hall, 1717 Le Corbusier, Laval, at 7:00 p.m. Amongst the performers that evening will be famous Greek singer, Zacharias Karounis.
