Educating children since 1909, École Socrates-Démosthène is a private school recognized and funded by the Ministry of Education of Québec. Our school’s programs include pre-school (kindergarten), elementary and high-school education .We also proudly offer under the Family Ministry of Québec (MFA), educational daycare service for 4-year-olds (prekindergarten) at some of our locations.

One of our main goals is to prepare your children for higher studies and for the challenges they will face later in life. It all begins with our state-of-the-art programs. Regardless of how proficient our students are when they enroll, they all graduate fully trilingual in French, English and Greek with excellent competencies in all subject matters.
Starting with an extra 300 minutes a week of teaching time (1800 minutes weekly at the elementary level), beyond the 1500 minutes that are prescribed by the Ministry of Education of Québec, after six years in elementary school, your children will have received the equivalent of seven years of education. No other school has the building blocks towards this end as Socrates-Démosthène.
The academic achievement of our students in all fields is extraordinary. It is no wonder that the majority of our graduates are accepted into the private high school of their choice, most preferring the French sector. They easily pass entrance exams. All this begins with the exceptional cognitive stimulation, structured self-development and cultural values instilled in our students as they advance through our system. Amongst our numerous extra-curricular activities, we end the school year with an exclusive educational trip to Greece and a spectacular graduation ceremony.
