I Stand for Our Schools

For all those involved in the I STAND For Our Schools initiative, there is excitement around how we can accelerate the growth of, and enhance the programs offered by, our trilingual day school and our supplementary education schools. We know where we have to go to reach our milestones and how to achieve our goals. 

What is the I Stand Campaign?
The HCGM Fundraising Committee has launched  the I STAND For Our Schools campaign to raise funds to invest in pedagogical tools and materials, to contribute to initiatives that will increase student enrollment, to provide financial aid on tuition as well as to finance upgrades and renovations to our school buildings. With your donation, you will stand for our schools and together we can continue to build on their well established record of achievement. It is our obligation as Hellenes to continue this legacy and help our schools to achieve an even higher level of excellence. 

Oversight on the Progress
As always, funds raised will be held in a segregated bank account with continued oversight by the Fundraising Committee.  Amounts raised will be reported through the I Stand donation platform. The Fundraising committee will publish investment projects as we deploy the funds. In addition, global accounting firm EY will continue to provide an independent audit, through the annual audit of the HCGM.

Why Now?
The pandemic has had a sobering impact, and has taken its toll on our schools. Now more than ever, we must stand for our schools and support their plans for the future. To meet a challenge and succeed requires a new perspective, talent, inventiveness, daring and commitment to address and execute. Nothing less will suffice.

How do I SUPPORT?
With your donation, you have the option of a recurring monthly donation or an annual, one-time donation. You can designate your donation by selecting which area you wish to Donate to. Additionally, using the matching gift lookup tool, Double the Donation, you can access all the information you need to verify if, and then, engage your employer to match your donation.

Stand for our schools as we launch this fundraising initiative. No donation is too small. If everyone contributes to a common cause - our schools - together we can make a huge impact. Nothing is more fulfilling than giving to our children!  Let’s give our next generation the tools to grow, to appreciate and to carry on the spirit of Hellenism.

DISCLAIMER: By completing and submitting this commitment to the I STAND For Our Schools campaign, your credit card will be immediately charged for the amount of your donation. For recurring donations, your credit card will be charged on the same day each month as your initial donation. Your commitment will be automatically renewed for a subsequent twelve (12) month period on the anniversary of the first monthly charge unless you cancel the commitment as provided below. The price of your commitment and the amount billed to your credit card will not be increased unless you otherwise so request in writing. You may cancel your commitment at any time by way of written notice, at which time the commitment will remain active until the end of the then applicable annual period.
