HCGM Cycling Club ride now open for registration for Saturday, September 5, starting at ‘The canal de Beauharnois’ for amazing scenery and adventure at Parc Regional de Beauharnois-Salaberry. Park at Halte des Villages, Unnamed Road, Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, QC J0S 1T0
Ride starts at 9:00 a.m.
As the weather starts cooling down, remember to bring a light jacket with you.
Option A – Short ride: Halte des Villages, ride along the path to Halte du Canal, Unnamed Road, Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka, QC and turn back towards the starting point for a total ride of about 24km.
Option B – Long ride: Halte des Villages, ride along the path to Halte au Fil de l’Eau, Beauharnois, QC J6N 1V4 then turn back all the way to Halte du Canal, Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka, QC and finally return to the starting point for a total ride of about 52km
WHAT: Fee of $10 per person and $5 for ages under 16 (accompanied by an adult). Fee includes: Guided tour, supervision, bottle of water, nutri bar and having fun sharing laughs together (all the while following social distancing). Funds raised will be used by the HCGM Athletics Department to offer and maintain activities.
WHERE: We plan to have tours once every week across the different “La Route Verte” bike paths across Montreal and Le Grand Montreal. Look out for other upcoming tours coming your way shortly. Tours will be easy bike paths with low inclines.
HOW: If you are interested to participate, please fill out the registration form by Friday, at noon, before each tour. Register below.
